Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

  • Assist with making drinks and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.

  • Learn the logistics of order taking, preparation, and cleaning to ensure smooth operations.

  • Manage evening shifts, with the majority of hours being in the evening.

Requirements:

Part-Time Kitchen Help/Dishwasher

Position Overview: Are you passionate about the culinary world and ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced kitchen? Buttercup Cafe is looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Kitchen Help. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, with potential for more hours during the busy summer season and room to grow within our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various kitchen tasks such as prepping ingredients, line cook, cleaning, and maintaining workstations.

  • Support the team by learning all stations and kitchen areas.

  • Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are always upheld.

  • Work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bring a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to the kitchen every day.

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in the culinary arts and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

  • Ability to work both daytime and evening shifts, with flexibility to take on more hours in the summer.

  • Must be teachable and open to feedback and training.

  • A mature, reliable, and responsible attitude.

  • A strong desire to support Buttercup Cafe and be a part of our growing team, with potential for advancement.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
